Community Assistance Grants
The Commonweal Foundation supports educational programs and projects assisting disadvantaged youth. The Foundation focuses on secondary and, to a lesser extent, elementary education.
School Enhancement Program
The Pathways to Success program, a component of Commonweal's Boarding and Day School Program, awards scholarships to students to attend boarding and day schools which are Pathways Partner Schools. The schools' environment provides Pathways students the opportunity to increase their academic skills, gain work experience, and expand their knowledge of life beyond their local communities.
Another component of the Boarding and Day Schools Program is the School Enhancement Program which provides funding directly to Partner Schools --in the form of grants and multi-year service contracts--to assist in the development of quality programs that are designed specifically to meet the needs of their underserved students.
